Over the years The Adventure Guild has designed and delivered a myriad of camps and retreats for a vast array of clients, including schools, corporations, churches, camp facilities, and non-profit organizations. Each of our camp or retreat programs are developed with direct input from the client and are custom-built with their needs and goals firmly in mind. Options abound, from location, to length, to format, to the adventure activities provided. Below is a list of our standard, fully-customizable camp / retreat programs.

Camp-based Adventures
Our camp-based retreats and camps provide groups with the opportunity to experience the power of adventure programming while enjoying all the amenities of a comfortable base camp. Camps and retreats can be as short as an overnight, or as long as a week or more.

With our strategic partnerships with camp facilities and conference centers in various locations across the US, your retreat location is simply a matter of convenience, budget, and preference. All of our partner camp facilities provide comfortable sleeping arrangements in either hotel-style lodges, cabins or platform tents and all have excellent food and clean, modern bathroom / shower facilities. Every camp or retreat program is built upon a foundation of adventure activities; however, the elements and activities for each camp or retreat can vary widely depending on location, budget, time-constraints, camp amenities, and the specific needs and goals of each group. Activities and elements typically employed include group games and team-building initiatives, low ropes course elements, high ropes course elements, rock climbing, rappelling, caving, hiking, canoeing / kayaking, whitewater rafting and more.

Adventure Treks
For groups who want to experience the wilderness with all it's wonder and challenges - without the benefits of a base camp - an Adventure Trek may be just the ticket.

The foundation of our Adventure Trek is several days of backpacking through a beautiful mountain range in the East, the majestic Colorado Rockies, or the stunning Wind River Range in Wyoming. Trek lengths can be as short as one overnight, or as long as 10 days.

Because of the logistics involved, land use regulations, and concern for impact on the environment, Adventure Treks (with a few rare exceptions) are limited in size - usually ten people or less.

In addition to the adventure foundation of backpacking and backcountry camping, typical Adventure Treks can also include technical rock climbing, rappelling, canoeing / kayaking, whitewater rafting, and more, depending on location and other factors.
